Room 10 you all did outstandingly well presenting your speeches this week in class. I really loved see how much effort you put in writing, learning and presenting your speeches. It is not an easy thing to do. I have selected three year 7 students and three year 8 students to represent our class in the senior competition to be held on Monday.

Cats are better than dogs
I strongly agree that cats are better than dogs...Well here are the reasons why they’re better, cats can just sleep anywhere unlike dogs where you have to make bed for them. And the other reason is cats don’t bark at night unlike dogs where they bark at night and can’t sleep.
OMG! I hate dogs, they bark at night, can’t get to sleep Ahhh! why do you guys like dogs, they’re disgraceful, and plus you have to make bed for them, unlike cats, they can just sleep anywhere, I’m telling you, buy a cat. For example if you want to go for a walk, you don’t need to take them as well, they’ll wander off.
If you still want to know why cats are better than dogs, well.....Do you want to save money? Buy a cat then, cats`are small and cute and cheaper..Dogs are just Eeeeew, they are real expensive, they dribble all everywhere and you have to pick up their poop. I hate dogs pooing in your backyard, you have to pick it up and you’ll be like Eeew yucky!
I bet your wanting to change your mind of wanting a cat, but I reckon this will hook you into it. Dogs can get lost easily and that will be a waste of money because they’re expensive, they cost like $150 and cats cost like $50-65 and they don’t get lost, what are you waiting for? Buy a cat now.

Cats are made to be clean Their tongue has exceptional taste buds that when they clean themselves their hair doesn’t get on their tongue.”
“Also cats are more excelling than dogs because if you are disabled, having a cat means you wouldn’t have to walk it, they clean themselves and keep you warm by sitting on your lap. With cats they are independent but loving. They love you no matter what. If you are disabled dogs won’t help you and if they manage to get on your lap they squish you, so they are not really stupendous pets for a disabled person.”

Do you think cats are better pets then dogs ?
NO!I think dog are better pets then cats by far! Dogs can be cute and cuddly, but they do more then that! Dogs make the world and safer place to live for everyone. As you read more you will be tempted to trade your cat for a dog:)
Dogs are way better then cats! Whats the point on having a cat when your never see it? The only time you see it is either when there hungry or there just strolling around the streets. Dogs never leave your side, but they also never stick to your side. Dogs are there when you need them and they go away when you don't. And that there is just ONE paragraph on why you should get a dog!
The reason why you are going to go down to the pet store and exchange your cat for dog is because, would you rather spend $200 or more! on a treadmill or spend just about $20 on a dog and be the right person and take that step forward on being healthy and fit? well be the better person and take those steps forward. But start with buying a super cute, caring loving, helpful playful most AWESOME pet dog!
In my third paragraph i should state for the THIRD time, dogs could be the best friend you have never had. Dogs will never turn on you even when they know your wrong there always there. pets like dogs are what you can call a true friend, a best friend and friend:)

Cats Versus Dogs as pets.
I am 99.99% that dogs can make better pets than cats I you tell you why, dogs are very loyal to people, they can protects your house and they also can entertain you. The purpose of this writing is to persuade you about dogs can make better pets than cats and I will explain you my three main reason and hopefully you’ll agree with me that dogs make better pets than cats at the end of this writing.
I think that dogs can make better pets than cats, well, because my first reason is that dogs are loyal to people and they are also friendly, that is why most people said that they are the man’s best friend. Because they are easy to train, you can make fun of them. And when every time you’re in the house they always goes to you and wanting to play with them.
My second reason is dogs can protects your house. For example when your going far away or you’re going to the mall or you’re at work they can guard your house and they can attack any burglars in your house. And cats can’t even do anything they can’t even fight to any burglars because they’re scared. That’s why dogs are very important.
I hope you’ll agree with me now that dogs can make better pets than cats because my last reason is that dogs can entertain you, for example when you’re bored and you got nothing to do at home you can play with the your dog. And you can also get fit because you can take the dog for a walk in the park with your friends or you can teach the dog with some new skills.

I definitely believe that dogs are better pets than cats. Dogs are more fun,they can help you and they can save your life,if your not keen on believing me then let me explain.
If you have a disadvantage of not being able to see than dogs can help you. They will be loyal only to you,they will never let you go. they will guard your house when your away so no body gets in.Its cheaper to get a dog than an alarm.
They can swim but cats are afraid of water, so they can save you when your drowning

you have to clean them, feed them, wash them and take them out for runs and that shows responsibility which comes in handy in life. dogs can beg which is funny to watch but cats will just scratch you instead.Cats don’t help when your in need,but dogs help a lot.
There for i recommend a fine fit dog,not a lazy cat. They are easy to feed, fun to play with and will protect you. So when your out buying a pet, get a dog.
