Hey guys here is the video that we watched in class. feel free to have another look and show your friends. Leave a comment and let me know what you thought about this speech. It certainly made me think!
He is saying his speech a little bit like a rap and it also has a really good message with it. He was saying that you shouldn't be limited by a label some people may put on them or they may put on themselves. He was also saying you can do anything you set your mind to and it doesn't matter if your the first person in your family to get an education.
I think it's inspiring. I guess the main message is to try and if you focus on your goal, trying your hardest at it, then their is a good chance you will succeed in it. I am definitely going to use this as an inspiration to become what I want to be in the future.
I find this speech/rap very interesting! I think that he is saying that whatever you want to be you can! Don't let other people destroy what you want to be. And no matter how you look like it doesn't matter and if a person says your say black or something offensive and you can't defend yourself just say that they're being racist! I also think that he was saying don't care on how other people judge you because in the end you're going to end up successful and, well i guess the main point is don't let other people let you down and just defend yourself because if you put your mind in anything you CAN DO IT!!!
Its a interesting rap speech, i love the way he is representing his skin colour, and his life, and country i think i need to meet this samoan guy he is so interesting i just want to meet him:)<3
