Easter in the  drought landsOn Wednesday 27^th march 2:00 I left school and went home to pack and at 2:30 I got in my dad’s Ute with the boat on the back of the Ute we set off to Moanna, the very, very small town right beside lake Brunner.The next day we went for a very long bike ride around Moanna and did that all day and we did have brakes every now and then.On Friday we set off to the wharf and went for a boat around the lake on my dad’s boat. Dad dropped Abby, my sister, Cath, my mum and I off at my favorite beach. I went swimming and I found a freshwater crayfish and I took him home.The day after that was Easter Saturday! And I made lots of Easter things and homemade Easter eggs and roasted marsh mellows. We went to the pub to celebrate my mum and dads wedding anniversary. I got bored very fast so I went to the skate park over the road and went biking down a very steep hill, it was so steep I busted my gears!On Sunday we looked everywhere for Easter bunny’s gift and there was an Easter hunt!
